This incredible driving experience with some of the fastest supercars in the world is offered on select airstrips in locations across the United States. (Airfields offer large areas of open and empty space that can be utilized in the event that you make a mistake. At 200MPH, you don’t want to worry about pesky nuisances like bridge abutments). Our experts with considerable racing experience have specifically selected these cars because of their racing heritage and 'natural track appeal'. You will be able to drive the world's fastest supercars at high speed without hesitation or concern over speed limits.
DRIVING THE WORLD'S FASTEST SUPERCARS
During this driving experience, we will equip you with a fleet of 200MPH-capable cars from Ferrari, Lamborghini, Bentley, and more. All cars are safety-equipped for the event, and capable of reliably exceeding the 200MPH barrier. Check our fleet page for a list of current supercars.
To maximize the driving experience and safety of the event, you each will have a professional driving instructor in the supercars with you at all times. The instructor will coach you on how to wring the maximum performance out of each car, give you insight on each car's handling, and evaluate your skill behind the steering wheel.
Qualification for the 200MPH Challenge
At the end of the track day you will have the opportunity to receive a 'XTREME certificate'. Based on your performance during the day, our instructor will allow you to hit the top speed they believe you can reach safely with the car of your choice.
The 200MPH Challenge Experience includes:

This event is currently offered at two locations. The Mojave Spaceport is approximately 50 miles east of Los Angeles and is home to of 40 top-secret aerospace companies. A special arrangement allows us to operate on a 14,500' airstrip:

WHAT IS THE 200MPH CHALLENGE EVENT?
This unique driving experience lets you get past the 200MPH barrier in a safe, controlled environment on select locations and dates across the United States. We’ll give you the right equipment from Ferrari, Lamborghini, Bentley, and more - to shatter the elusive 200MPH barrier. This truly is your best chance to become one of the automotive elite.

WHAT CAN I EXPECT FROM MY DAY?
The 200MPH CHALLENGE event is a full day event, operated at select airstrip locations in the United States and Canada. When you arrive at the event location, you’ll first participate in an extensive safety briefing, led by our professional race instructors. Then, you’ll proceed through two morning workshops, where our instructors will coach you through high speed cornering, braking, and control exercises. By the afternoon, you’ll be ready to make your attempts to break the 200MPH barrier.
You’ll be provided with breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and all-you-can-eat snacks & drinks throughout the day.
After the event concludes, you’ll participate in a trophy ceremony, where we congratulate the 200MPH participants, present trophies, and take photos.
SOUNDS EXTREME. IS THIS DRIVINE EXPERIENCE SAFE?
Your safety is absolutely our first priority. Each event is fully staffed by professionals, and the event is run in a safe and controlled manner in a closed environment. During the event, you’ll have the opportunity to slowly increase your speeds as your comfort level grows.
WHAT ARE THE QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS?
To participate in a WCD event a driver needs to be between 25 and 70 years old. Drivers over 70 may be able to participate subject to certain insurance company approvals. Hold a valid US or Canadian driving license. Other license holders will require prior authorization. Hold current insurance from a insurance company. If a customer knowingly makes or holds a reservation after they have been informed of - or received - a suspension or other violation or misdemeanor on their license which may preclude them from being covered by insurance, then they will be subject to our cancellation policy. Be able to drive the cars without the aid of special equipment.
There are no specific weight or height restrictions for participation in the XTREME 200MPH event, however, all of the cars have limited headroom and are fitted with racing s eats, which provide lateral support. It is our experience that drivers over 280 lbs or 6'5" or taller may be extremely uncomfortable. We advise that if you fall into this category it is better to call us before booking.
WHAT CARS WILL I DRIVE?
All supercars are late model and are usually E-Gear transmissions. Cars capable of top speeds of greater than 200MPH are selected for this event, such as the Ferrari 599GTB, Lamborghini LP-560, and Mercedes Mclaren. Have a favorite supercar? You’ll get to select your weapon of choice for each of your 200MPH run attempts.
Occasionally, due to unforeseen circumstances, the supercar line up is subject to change. In this case, we will replace the supercar with a comparable exotic car. We will also have a backup supercar at each event in case of a mechanical problem.
IS THERE A DRESS CODE?
Sport casual is ideal. The pedals on some of the supercars are close together so sport shoes are a good choice (boots are not ideal). Please be careful not to wear a belt with metal decorations, you will be asked to remove it as it may damage the seat leather. No safety equipment is required. There is room in each car for a small backpack.
WHAT HOTEL SHOULD I STAY AT?
We do our best to arrange a group rate for WCD guests at the host hotels that become our event headquarters. We do not guarantee rooms for our participants as each resort has a different policy. Please indicate if you are interested in a room reservation and we will let you know what the arrangements are for each hotel.
HOW MUCH DRIVING TIME WILL I GET?
Lots! The typical driving experience has 16 participants . In the morning, you’ll rotate through a selection of supercars in two braking and cornering workshop. In the afternoon, you’ll have four attempts to hit the 200MPH barrier. A pproximately 70% of our participants break the 200MPH barrier. The top speed to date was a blistering 211 MPH.
DO I NEED A HELMET?
Yes, but we’ll provide helmets at the event at no additional charge. You may also bring your own helmet.
WHAT ABOUT INSURANCE?
While you may want to check with your insurance companies, please be advised that most insurance companies do not cover off-road, track, or high speed events. You are responsible for any vehicle damage that occurs while you are driving in the event, up to $25,000. (We can provide you with vehicle damage insurance for an additional charge.) We also maintain full event liability insurance; please inquire for more details.
CAN I BRING A PASSENGER OR GUEST?
You may bring one non-driving guest for an additional $250. Guests will have access to all activities except driving. Or, you may bring a guest passenger for an additional $750. Guest passengers will be driven during the event by one of our instructors. You may register either type of guest with your reservation or at a later date should space permit.
CAN I TAKE PHOTOS OR VIDEOS?
You are more than welcome to take photos and videos during the event, except while driving. (That’s obvious, right?) One of the supercars is outfitted with extensive video gear, and you’ll have the opportunity to purchase HD video of your 200MPH runs. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate the mounting of your video equipment on the vehicles.
WHAT HAPPENS IF IT RAINS?
If the forecast calls for rain, we will likely delay the drivine experience or reschedule to the next day. We may also give you the option to change your booking to another scheduled event.
WHAT IS THE CANCELLATION POLICY?
200MPH Challenge reservations are not refundable. You can transfer your booking to another driver at any time. You may also reschedule your event, provided that you reschedule at least 30 days prior to your current reservation.
HOW MUCH DOES THE EVENT COST?
The event is $4,995 per driver. The price includes hospitality (continental breakfast, lunch buffet, non-alcoholic beverages, snacks), a gift pack - including driver's certificate, 3-D crystal etching of your favorite car, and photographs of the day's experience.
