That's why we created the ROAD & RACING series.
This two-part event starts with a half-day on-road exotic car tour. You'll get behind the wheel of some of the world's best supercars on the most scenic back-roads available. Then, you'll spend the remainder of the day on-track in a series of lapping sessions at select racetracks across America.
This combined event offers the best of both on-track and public road touring, and gets you on the most challenging and exclusive tracks in the U.S. You'll push the supercars - and your comfort zone - to new limits in a safe and controlled environment.
THE SUPERCAR FLEET
Our supercar fleet contains the latest models of the latest supercars on the market. We own (not rent) each of the supercars in our fleet. Each vehicle is meticulously maintained by manufacturer certified dealers.
WHERE
We offer Road & Racing events at select tracks across the United States. Some locations - such as the very private and exclusive Monticello Motor Club in New York and the Palm Beach International Raceway - are normally inaccessible to the average enthusiast. Weʼll set you up with some serious hardware from Ferrari, Lamborghini and more, and let you experience these beautiful tracks in style.

Road & Racing Itinerary
The Road & Racing event is a full day event. You'll leave the event exhausted, fulfilled, and with a new respect for the capabilities of the supercar fleet in both track and public road environments. Here's a typical event schedule:
ROAD & RACING: EVENT SCHEDULE
WELCOME: 8:00am
The day begins with a breakfast or continental lunch at our hospitality unit, where you will immediately sense the unique atmosphere of the Road & Racing event. We will introduce our Road & Racing team, who are dedicated towards making your experience unforgettable.
THE MORNING: 8:45am - 12:00pm
Then, youʼll select a supercar, and weʼll head out on nearby public roads for a thrilling supercar tour. Youʼll drive a total of three supercars in the morning, with 45 minutes in each supercar. Youʼll arrive back at the track, where weʼll provide complimentary lunch and beverages.
LUNCH: 12:00 - 1:00pm
By lunch, you'll have spent considerable time in each car and familiarized yourself with handling, braking, cornering and performance. You should be familiar with the supercars by this stage, so you can apply the lessons of the road to the real experience of driving the supercars in a track environment. Enjoy a catered track-side lunch, and mingle with the instructors and other participants.
AFTERNOON: 1:00pm - 4:00pm
During the afternoon, you will spend personal time with your designated instructor, who will coach you through the track portion of the event. He or she will work with you to determine the level of speed you feel comfortable with achieving.
Youʼll participate in three 20-minute sessions on the track in exotic supercars. A pace car will show you the line and help you safely navigate the course at speeds.
CLOSING: 4:00pm - 5:00pm
The day concludes with the presentation of our World Class Driving gift pack - including a driver's certificate, a 3-D crystal etching of your favorite car and photographs of the day's experience.
Note: Depending on your group assignment, you may experience the track portion in the morning, and the road portion in the afternoon.

WHAT ARE THE DRIVER QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS?
- To participate in a WCD event a driver needs to be between 25 and 70 years old. Drivers over 70 may be able to participate subject to certain insurance company approvals.
- Hold a valid US or Canadian driving license. Other license holders will require prior authorization.
- Hold current insurance from a insurance company. If a customer knowingly makes or holds a reservation after they have been informed of - or received - a suspension or other violation or misdemeanor on their license which may preclude them from being covered by insurance, then they will be subject to our cancellation policy.
- Be able to drive the cars without the aid of special equipment.
There are no specific weight or height restrictions for participation in this event, however, all of the cars have limited headroom and are fitted with racing seats, which provide lateral support. It is our experience that drivers over 280 lbs or 6'5" or taller may be extremely uncomfortable. We advise that if you fall into this category it is better to call us before booking an event.
WHAT CARS WILL I GET TO DRIVE?
All cars are late model and include E-Gear, manumatic or triptronic and stick shift. Occasionally, due to unforeseen circumstances, the car line up is subject to change. In this case, we will replace the car with a comparable car. We will also have a backup car at each event in case of a mechanical problem. ARE THE CARS DIFFICULT TO DRIVE?
No. However, the cars are more powerful and responsive than a typical car. The operation, controls and special features of each car will be presented during the briefing. Our cars have an "automatic mode" if required. Some also use "sequential manual gearboxes" or SMG, or triptronic. This new E Gear technology, also used in F1 and DSG is found in many new high performance cars and is a manual gearbox where the clutch and gear selection is handled by a computer when you pull the gear change paddle.
WHAT IS THE "BRIEFING" ALL ABOUT?
The briefing will cover the car operation, route and track information, group selection and program rules. There will be a pace car and a chase car on the road and track sections of the event.
You are accompanied along the route by our professional staff. Our staff has professional driving experience and most have worked within the racing industry. The group of cars is led by a pace car and followed by another staff car to manage the group on the open road. This is to ensure no one gets lost, or if there is a problem along the route there will be a person to identify and respond to issues. This format makes it possible for our guests to simply focus on their driving and enjoy the cars.
WHAT ABOUT INSURANCE?
We require that you maintain a current insurance policy in the state of your residence in order to participate in the event. In the event of vehicle damage during the public road portion of the Road & Racing event, you are fully responsible. In the event of vehicle damage, we will provide assistance submitting a claim to your insurance carrier. We also maintain event liability coverage while you are using our fleet.
You are responsible for any vehicle damage that occurs while you are driving on the track in the event, up to $25,000. (We can provide you with track vehicle damage insurance for an additional charge.) We also maintain full event liability insurance; please inquire for more details.
DO I NEED A HELMET?
Weʼll provide helmets for the track portion of the event at no additional charge. You may also bring your own helmet.
IS THERE A DRESS CODE?
Sport casual is ideal. The pedals on some of the cars are close together so sport shoes are a good choice (boots are not ideal). Please be careful not to wear a belt with metal decorations, you will be asked to remove it as it may damage the seat leather. No safety equipment is required. Don't forget your camera and/or video recorder so you or your guest passenger can capture the event! Cameras cannot be mounted in cars. There is room in each car for a small backpack.
WHERE CAN I STAY IF I WANT OVERNIGHT ACCOMMODATIONS?
We do our best to arrange a group rate for WCD guests at the host hotels that become our event headquarters. We do not guarantee rooms for our participants as each resort has a different policy. Please indicate if you are interested in a room reservation and we will let you know what the arrangements are for each hotel.
CAN I BRING PASSENGER OR GUEST?
You may bring one guest passenger per driver for an additional $300. Passengers will ride with you during the public road section of the event, and on the track. Guests will have access to all activities except driving. You may register a passenger with your reservation or at a later date should space permit.
WHAT HAPPENS IF IT RAINS?
Light rain is not a problem; storms can cause the event to be delayed or postponed to the next day. If the storm is persistent we may reschedule to another date or give you the option to change your booking to another scheduled event.
IS THERE A CANCELLATION POLICY?
Road & Racing reservations are not cancelable. You may transfer your reservation to another driver at any time. You may reschedule your reservation to a future date, provide that the current reservation date is more than 30 days in the future. (Unfortunately, we have no flexibility on cancellations, as event schedules, instructors, and facilities are scheduled months in advance of your event.)
Gift Certificates are non-refundable but may be transferred to another person. Gift certificates will expire 12 months from date of purchase, after which the gift certificate will become invalid. Under special circumstances it may be possible to transfer your reservation to a future designated event for an administrative fee of $50.
HOW MUCH DOES THIS EVENT COST?
This event cost $3,995 per driver. The price includes hospitality (continental breakfast, lunch buffet, non-alcoholic beverages, snacks), a gift pack - including driver's certificate, 3-D crystal etching of your favorite car, and photographs of the day's experience.
